How to add background music
Search for a music track, preview samples, and add background music to a Screenfly demo.
When to use music
Background music can make launch clips and social videos feel more polished. It is usually less important for support or technical onboarding videos, where clarity matters more than mood.
Use music lightly. The product action and voiceover should remain easy to understand.
Search and preview
Open the Audio controls in Studio and use the music search field. Preview short samples before adding a track to the timeline.
Previews are for choosing a track. Confirm licensing before publishing any customer-facing video.
Add music to the timeline
Choose a track and add it to the project file. The music is included when you bake the finished video.
If the music does not fit the demo, clear it from the timeline and choose another track.
Keep it subtle
For product demos, music should support the story rather than compete with narration, subtitles, or UI details.
