How to add voiceover from subtitles
Turn subtitle text into narration and include voiceover in the baked Screenfly video.
How voiceover works
Screenfly can create narration from the active subtitle version. That means your subtitle text is the script.
Before adding voiceover, make sure the subtitles say what you want viewers to hear.
Choose a subtitle version
If you created a Voice adjusted version, select it before generating voiceover. If you want narration to follow the exact caption text, keep Original selected.
The active subtitle version controls the voiceover input.
Add voice
Use Add Voice in the Studio audio controls. Screenfly uses the voice engine available for your plan and adds the generated narration to the project file.
Voice options vary by plan:
- Free supports Basic browser voice.
- Pro supports Basic and Standard voices.
- Premium supports Basic, Standard, and Premium voices where available.
Bake to finalize audio
Voiceover is finalized during bake. Preview the result, adjust subtitles if the narration feels too fast or slow, then bake again when needed.
