How to create and manage Studio projects
Learn how Studio projects organize files, edits, subtitles, export choices, and baked outputs.
What a Studio project contains
A Studio project groups the work needed to produce a demo. It can include one or more Project files, plus settings such as skip zones, crop, subtitles, voiceover, music, device frame, export format, and quality.
Projects let you keep an editing workspace separate from the Library asset inventory.
Create a project
Screenfly can create a project when you record or open a Library file in Studio. You can also create a project from the Studio project selector.
Use clear names, such as:

Clear project names make it easier to return later and bake a revised version.
Switch projects
Use the project selector in the Studio left column to switch between projects. When you switch, Studio loads that project's files and timeline settings.
Rename or remove a project
Project actions let you rename or remove a project. Removing a project only removes the Studio workspace and timeline settings. Recordings remain in your Library.
That distinction matters: deleting a project is not the same as deleting the source video.
