Recording length limits by plan
Understand Screenfly's recording duration limits and practical browser constraints.
Free and Pro recording length
Free and Pro recordings are capped at 10 minutes per recording.
For most GTM demos, onboarding clips, and launch videos, shorter recordings usually perform better anyway. If you need a long training session, consider splitting it into focused chapters.
Premium recording length
Premium has no product-enforced recording duration cap.
Practical browser, device memory, and upload constraints may still apply, so very long recordings should be planned carefully.
What happens if a recording is too long
Screenfly validates recording duration. If a recording exceeds the allowed duration for your plan, it may be stopped or rejected.
Best practice
For product demos, record the shortest complete path to value. Use separate videos for separate user outcomes instead of one long tour.
