How to bake a finished video
Use Screenfly bake to create the final video output from your edits, subtitles, audio, frame, and export settings.
What baking does
Bake creates a new finished video asset. It applies your selected:
- skip zones
- crop
- subtitles
- voiceover
- background music
- device frame
- export format
- export quality
Baking does not overwrite the source recording.
Before you bake
Preview the active file and check:
- the cuts feel natural
- subtitles are readable and timed correctly
- voiceover or music is intentional
- crop does not hide important UI
- format and resolution are correct
Start the bake
Choose Bake video in Studio. Screenfly queues an async job and shows progress while the video is processed.
Baking can take a few minutes depending on video length and selected output settings.
Name the baked video
When the bake is ready, choose the file name for the baked video. The output is saved back to Library and Project files.
